Back Again for Another Contract — And Why It Still Means Everything
As I prepare to step into another contract, I’m reminded of why this work continues to shape me, challenge me, and bring out the best in who I am.
Every time I return onboard, I’m not just clocking into a job — I’m stepping into a promise. A promise to thousands of guests who choose to spend their holidays with us, trusting that we’ll give them memories they’ll talk about for a lifetime. And behind that promise is the heartbeat of every ship: the crew.
Reading the message from our VP of Hotel Operations reinforced something I’ve always believed — our presence onboard matters. Showing up on time, prepared, complete with documents and confirmations isn’t just a requirement… it’s respect. Respect for the team, for the guests, and for the craft of hospitality at sea.
This brand I’m building — Dear Maria — is rooted in discipline, world-class service, and the attitude of “show up, do your best, and make it count.” That’s who I am every contract, every sailing, every table I serve.
Soon I’ll be back onboard, doing what I do best:
Delivering exceptional vacations. Creating moments. Turning service into connection.
Here’s to another contract, another journey, and another chance to raise the standard — not just for the company, but for myself.
See you at sea. 🌊✨
